Governor Tunai dismisses county funds misuse claims

Narok Governor, Samuel ole Tunai, has dismissed corruption allegations against him by Orange Democratic Movement Gubernatorial aspirant, Musuni ole Tiampati, who has accused him of mismanaging the county resources.

The two leaders, who met at a funeral service of Richard Olotuno, in Eor-ekule Eldamat East Ward, pointed accusing fingers at each other.

Tunai defended his development record in the County saying that he has improved the road network has improved, better health services and education have been realised since he took over as Governor in 2013.

The County boss questioned opposition’s development record saying that no tangible outcome can be linked to its elected leaders.

He said the Jubilee government has equalized development and narrowed the inequality gap among Kenyans.

Musuni, however, said Governor Tunai had failed in his four years of leadership adding that 30 billion shillings allocated for Narok County had allegedly been misused under his watch.
