Governor Wambora to cleanse Kivuti, Mbarire demons

Embu Governor, Martin Wambora, has organized a sanctification ceremony to cleanse and cast out demons at Karurumo market where Senator Lenny Kivuti and MP Cecily Mbarire engaged in a violent altercation.

Wambora said that the clergy will be at Karurumo on October 16 to cleanse the area in order to avoid the demons that could spread to other places during the electioneering period.

He said that it is high time politicians learn that votes belong to the electorate and, therefore, being violent at public functions will not make them win the voters in any way.

Wambora said after consulting with the youth who had planned a fund raiser, the event has to be repeated in order to help them realize their dreams, adding that the event will go hand-in-hand with the cleansing ceremony.

He said that he has called upon the clergy to carry with them holy water that will be sprinkled at the venue in order to cast out the demons that have been using politicians to cause violence.

Wambora maintained that he is still the incumbent and will continue to push his development agenda in the county as the ‘warlords’ continue to fight.

He said that as long as he is in office, his opponents will not deter him from achieving what he promised in 2013 as his mandate expires next year after which he will go back to the people and ask for votes again.

He added that not even the Senator can bar him from seeking re-election since the votes are with wananchi and they will decide who to lead them.

He was speaking in Embu town on Thursday, September 29 during the handing over of water drainage systems by the World Bank.
