Governors Summit: Governors Defend Their Spending Record

Governors are set to meet with the top leadership of the national government on Friday this week to kick start talks that aim at resolving the governance row pitting governors and senators on the one hand and the national government on the other. During a governors summit held in Naivasha, where the Rwandan president Paul Kagame was the chief guest, the chairman of the  governors’ council Isaac Ruto said the Friday meeting will be crucial in creating understanding between the key players and unlocking the potential of devolution.
