Gov’t has Failed Kenyans on Security, Wetangula

Wetangula says that the Jubilee administration has continued sleeping on its job even as more and more Kenyans are being massacred by bandits and terrorists.

“Kenyans are crying that Pokots and Turkanas are being killed yet the President is busy engaging himself in the 2017 politics,” said Mr. Wetangula.

“Our children were killed during the Garissa University attack; now we have over fifty Kenyans killed in Baringo yet the President has done nothing but says he will build a wall to protect Kenyans from the Al Shabaab.”

The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) co-principal, however, says the Okoa Kenya campaign will address the rising insecurity cases in the country and especially in the pastoral counties.

Wetangula was speaking in Kabuchai constituency during the burial of a Ford Kenya party member who was killed by robbers at his home last week.

He was accompanied by Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu, Kapchai MP James Lusweti, Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi and nominated Ford Kenya MP Patrick Wangamati.
