Grandmother Arrested For Killing Infant

The grandmother is said to have committed the offence after she went home drunk on Sunday night. 

Police have also arrested the infant’s mother who was believed to be in the company of the granny when the offence was committed. 

According to Langa Langa Assistant Chief George Ng’ang’a, the incident was reported by the area Nyumba Kumi leader on Sunday night.

The body of the minor has been taken to Nakuru County Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem while the two women are being held at bondeni police station as investigations continue.
