Granny killed by elephant in Marsabit

An elderly woman has died after being attacked by a stray elephant at Songa village in Marsabit central sub county.

Deputy County Commissioner Kipchumba Ruto has confirmed the incident saying the deceased was killed by a stray elephant at the Badassa area in Songa village.

The body has been taken to Marsabit general hospital mortuary.
