GSU officer kills self after shooting colleague dead, injuring 2

A General Service Unit (GSU) officers killed his colleague before shooting himself dead under unclear circumstances in Chepchoina, Trans Nzoia County on Wednesday.

According to a police report seen by Citizen Digital, two other officers are receiving medical care at the Endebes Sub-County Hospital having sustained gunshot wounds.

Endebes Sub-county DCI boss Peter Ochieng confirmed the incident saying the three were in an altercation before the incident.

The officers had reportedly disagreed on an amount of money that had been spent to fuel a car they had used to go shopping in Kitale town.
