Gulf African Bank makes food donations to Eastleigh, Majengo families

Over 100 families living in Nairobi’s Eastleigh and Majengo area of Kamukunji Constituency on Thursday received food donations from the Gulf African Bank in collaboration with Asmali Media.

The food distribution drive held at Eastleigh High School and presided over by area MP Yusuf Hassan targeted low income households.

Each of the households represented at the event received a package of floor, cooking oil, soap and sanitizers among the items.

Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan urged the public to be very careful about COVID-19 and to strictly adhere to the safety guidelines prescribed by the Ministry of Health.

“My thanks to the management of Gulf African Bank for their generous gesture. This will go a long during these hard time,” said Hassan.

Abdullahi Aden, Head of Retail at Gulf Bank, said the bank will stand with the community especially during this difficult time of the pandemic.

Various organizations have come out to offer a helping hand to communities who are suffering following lost income and hardships occasioned by the pandemic.
