Guns drawn as police attempt to serve Jimi Wanjigi with court order

There was drama on Wednesday afternoon after heavily armed police officers attempted to serve businessman Jimi Wanjigi with a court order in Nairobi.

In a video seen by Citizen Digital, the heavily armed officers stopped his car along Kipande Road, near Museums of Kenya. The businessman refused to leave his car and locked himself in.

The cops later posted the court order on his windscreen and left.

This caused a massive traffic snarl-up in the area as the stand off ensued and both parties refused to yield.

According to an eye witness, traffic flow was stopped before 11 plain clothes officers emerged and surrounded Wanjigi’s car.
