High Court Judge Sues Bank

Court Of Appeal Judge GBM Kariuki has sued the standard chartered bank after the bank issued him with banker’s cheques worth 5.4 million shillings in favor of DT Dobie for purchase of car but which were allegedly dishonored. Justice Kariuki has sued the bank claiming its decision to issue him with bad cheques has humiliated him and injured his reputation. He is subsequently seeking compensation for the alleged damages.
