High school teacher killed by husband in Nakuru

A man killed his wife and then committed suicide at Kiptoben Village in Kuresoi South Constituency in Nakuru County.

Confirming the Saturday night incident, area chief Nicholas Kering said the man identified as Bernard Kipkemoi slit his wife’s throat with a kitchen knife on Saturday night before hanging himself with a robe in the bedroom.

According to the neighbours, the couple was not known to have been in conflict, hence, the incident came as a surprise to them.

The couple had only one child — a three-year-old son — who was in the house during the horrific incident.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to the Molo hospital mortuary after further investigation into the incident continue.
