Homa Bay county official, husband arrested over corruption claims

Three Homa Bay county officials have been arrested over corruption allegations.

Kepha Rombe, Mary Agong and her husband Chris Agong were arrested on Monday night for allegedly awarding county tenders to their own companies.

According to Homa Bay County DCI boss Daniel Wachira, the three were taken to Kisii and the case will be handled by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

A report from the EACC office  revealed that the detectives are looking for other county government officials linked to several corruption claims.
