Homa Bay man mercilessly kills widow he inherited

Police in Ragwe, Homa Bay County, have launched a man-hunt for a man who is suspected to have killed a woman he inherited as a wife.

27-year-old Odhiambo Weke from East Kagan location is said to have beheaded Florence Atieno, 38, following domestic wrangles.

Confirming the incident, area Chief Washington Ojwang said that Mr. Weke is believed to have killed the wife at night and fled at dawn.

Chief Ojwang told the Citizen Digital that the man had three children with the widow he inherited three years ago, but unfortunately two had passed away.

Weke has a first wife with whom they have three children.
