Homa Bay: Man stabbed to death in love triangle gone sour

A 30 -year-old man has been stabbed to death by his lover’s husband in a suspected love triangle in Kodhok, Homa Bay County.

Citizen Digital undertands that Billy Otieno was waylaid and attacked on his way home from Rangwe trading Centre.

Reports indicate that he was stabbed several times on the stomach and head by a man who accused him of having an affair with his wife.

Genga location chief Andrew Okambo confirmed that the deceased from the neighboring Gem West Location had an affair with the suspect’s wife before the incident.

He further claimed that the two men were relatives and had fought over the woman two weeks ago.

The deceased reportedly slashed the suspect on the hand with a machete.

After the incident, the Chief said the suspect tailed the deceased on a revenge mission.

He stabbed him to death on Monday night and fled from the scene.

Officers from Rangwe are in pursuit of the suspect.
