Mr. Tum told said they have been hunting for suspects linked to the loss of the mace since the matter was reported to police.

He added that the mace will be used as an exhibit when Ms. Arudi is arraigned in court.

A day after the loss of the mace, the County Assembly went ahead and formed an Ad-hoc Committee of 11 members to investigate the matter and table the report in the House within 14 days.

The proposal was tabled in the Assembly by Kakello Kokwanyo Ward MCA Dan Were who demanded that investigations be done and the culprit be brought to book.
