Huduma Centre GPO to be reopened next week, service by appointment only

The Ministry of Public Service on Saturday released a press statement saying it will reopen Huduma Centre GPO in Nairobi on Monday August 17, 2020.

However, in an effort to minimize traffic and time spent queuing for service, the ministry said Huduma Kenya will gradually be rolling out a service by appointment system.

“Starting Monday August 17, 2020, you will be required to book an appointment before visiting Huduma Centre GPO Nairobi,” read the statement.

“To book an appointment, visit www.hudumakenya.go.ke, select book appointment and follow the steps on how to book an appointment for the desired service(s).”

The statement however added that one will not need an appointment to be served in the other 4 Huduma Centres in Nairobi or the other 51 centres countrywide.

Huduma Centre GPO was among others that were temporarily closed on July 14 for fumigation amid rising number of COVID-19 cases in the city and high number of traffic.
