Human body parts found dumped in Kisii

The severed organs; a head and arm, were discovered by residents who were heading home from church.

Kisii County Police Commander Hassan Abdi said security agencies had began investigations to establish the origin of the body parts which were in a black polythene bag.

According to the police commander, the arm had been dismembered from the torso at the shoulder region.

The organs were taken to the Kisii County Referral Hospital mortuary.

Police also obtained fingerprints from the hand to establish the identity of the victim.
