Hundreds Attend Blessed Sister Nyaathas Thanksgiving Service Amid Tight Security

The mass was led by Nyeri Archbishop Peter Kairu amid heightened both inside and outside the school grounds.

Earlier, there was a bit of commotion after a suspicious looking man was arrested after being suspected of being up to no good.

Archbishop Kairu asked Kenyans to emulate Blessed Sister Stefani by helping the sick and less fortunate in society.

He has also asked Kenyans to pray for troubled countries including Kenya.

After the thanksgiving service, Blessed Sister Irene Stefani's relics will be taken to Consolata Cathedral Catholic Church where she will be laid to rest.

Sister Nyaatha is now a miracle away from sainthood.
