Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has termed his removal as Senate Minority Leader as a “mischievous” plot hatched by the National Super Alliance affiliate Party, ODM. While making his speech in the Senate on Thursday afternoon, a visibly shattered Mr Wetangula accused ODM Senators of holding secret meetings to orchestrate his ouster. Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has announced that he will be in the presidential ballot come 2022.

Speaking in Kisumu during the closing ceremony of the secondary school heads meeting from Bungoma County,  Wetangula urged the National Super Alliance (NASA) principals to support him in his bid saying he has what it takes to lead this country.

” Without any fear of contradiction, I will be on the ballot in 2022 and am asking my brother Raila, my brother Kalonzo and my brother Mudavadi to let me try this horse this time, “said Wetangula

The Ford Kenya leader further expressed optimism that the NASA co-principals will rally behind his candidature adding that he was ready to dialogue with them over his ambitions..

” This does not preclude anybody else from asking me to support them because that is what politics is all about,”said Wetangula

While insisting that the coalition remains strong, Wetangula was however keen to note that NASA co principals; Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi remain to be equal partners.

” We are championing a common cause for the people of Kenya. We are together in a unity to give this country reforms and to give the people a better Kenya,” said Wetangula

The senator urged the people in the western region to rally behind him come 2022 and enable him dethrone Jubilee party from power.
