The Opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, claims his late son, Fidel Odinga, is still listed as a voter, more than two years after his demise.

Odinga made the remarks during an interview on Radio Maisha on Tuesday morning.

Odinga claimed the voter register audit conducted by KPMG was a hoax and demanded that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) makes public the audit firm’s report.

Later while addressing a press conference at a city hotel before heading to Kiambu County on a vote hunting mission, Odinga demanded that the electoral commission publishes the voter register that will be used in next month’s General Election to enable all players and stakeholders ascertain the integrity of the national roll of voters.

KPMG recommended the removal of names of at least 92,000 deceased persons, though there are in excess of one million dead voters whose names are still in the register.

But speaking during the Radio Maisha morning show, Odinga demanded publication of the voter register, and removal of all dead voters, to ensure that only bonafide voters take part in next month’s polls.
