ICC Bensouda Opposes Kenyatta Excusal

ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has opposed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s request to be excused from attending a status conference at The Hague in person. Bensouda claims Kenyatta has not given valid reasons for his application to appear via video link instead. The prosecutor is however not opposed to postponing the conference slated for October 8.
