ICT Association Boss Faults Govt on Digital Migration

Association Secretary General Kamotho Njenga has warned the government against blind zeal to honor the June 2015 global migration deadline by destroying a media sector that has taken decades to evolve.

In a statement, Njenga has faulted the forceful entry by Communications Authority and police officers into transmission stations of leading stations Citizen TV, KTN, NTV and QTV to dismantle their equipment.

The ICT association boss is now appealing to CAK boss Francis Wangusi and ICT cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i to stop being antagonistic while responding to genuine concerns raised by the leading media houses on the migration process.
