IEBC Opts for Manual Voter Identification after One Device Fails

According to voters at the polling station, the device failed to respond to technical commands forcing the IEBC team to use the manual system of voter identification.

The voters say that process had since slowed down in the affected stream as the manual system of voter identification was slow compared to the electronic system.

However, no other case of the EVID device failing has been registered.
