IEBC Sends Makueni County Report To Kenyatta

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission forwarded the report to President Uhuru Kenyatta for further action

The electoral body has verified the signatures of the petitioners who wanted the President to dissolve the county over persistent wrangles.

IEBC approved the petition booklet on Thursday last week containing 50,826 signatures of petitioners who supported the petition.

This comes as Makueni County Assembly members filed a fresh impeachment motion at the senate against Governor Kivutha Kibwana.
