Kenyans have been urged to verify whether they were recorded as supporters of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) without their consent.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati said they have since made public a list of verified supporters on their website.

Chebukati urged those who wish to file their complaints to do so by reporting to the acting CEO.

The duly signed letter should contain their name, ID number and telephone details.

The scanned letter should be emailed to [email protected] or dropped at the IEBC offices at Anniversary Towers by 5pm on Monday, January 25, 2021.

The commission launched the verification of supporting signatures on December 30, 2020.

This was followed by a clean-up which sought to remove incomplete records, duplicates and those not in the register of voters.
