IG Kimaiyo’s Police Shuffle

The shuffle affects sixteen senior police officers.

The change targets mainly regional bosses and takes effect immediately.

Among those moved include Kisumu County Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) commander David Cheruiyot.

Commander David swapped positions with his Isiolo counterpart Moses Dindi.

Machakos DCI commander Pius Macharia changes offices with his Embu counterpart David Kirui

Kilimani Deputy Police boss Julius Lemako moves to Kisumu as the new divisional chief replacing Musa Kongoli who has been moved to Vigilance House.

Kisumu DCIO Henry Ndombi moves to Machakos DCIO while Machakos DCIO moves to Nyandarua in the same capacity.

Moses Ikului is the new Kinango police boss whereas James Mutungi is the new head of operations in Mombasa County.
