Illicit Brew Victims Body Goes Missing

The body of the 35 year old was found missing on Tuesday when family members went to claim it for burial.

The family to the late Muchiri Juma is now in agony after the hospital allegedly lost his body which was due for burial.

Hassan Juma, the brother of the deceased claims that his brother was admitted at the Embu Hospital after consuming the illicit brew to receive medical attention.

Muchiri later lost his life in the middle of the night prompting his body to be moved to the morgue in the same hospital.

The Juma family is now demanding to be given the body scheduled for burial today.

Embu Hospital Superintendent Dr Gerald Nderitu says he will issue a comprehensive report over the missing body later today, Wednesday.
