I’m not interested in Kabete seat, says former Mungiki leader

Commenting on the issue, Njenga’s personal assistant said that the Mkenya Solidarity party leader is not interested in vying for the Kabete parliamentary seat, terming the claims as mere rumours.

After the conclusion of the Kajiado Central by-elections, focus now shifts to Kabete where parties will be squaring it out to fill the parliamentary seat left vacant by the killing of George Muchai last month.

Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) has settled on former Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu to contest for the seat on the party ticket.

The nomination has however been challenged in court with two voters filling a petition in court to challenge Waititu’s nomination on matters of integrity.
