Transport along Ngong Road in Nairobi was paralysed after protesters from Kibra barricaded the road near Adams Arcade protesting against Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria’s remarks on allegedly calling for assassination of CORD leader Raila Odinga.

Motorists using the road have been forced to seek alternative routes after the protesters lit bonfires along the road

The protesters are also accused the government of being lenient on politicians allied to the Jubilee coalition who they say have also been making inflammatory remarks.
