IN PICTURES: Machakos ready for Mashujaa Day celebrations

This year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations will in Machakos on Thursday, October 20. The event will be presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto, Cabinet Secretaries and diplomats among other high ranking government officials.

Machakos County, under the leadership of Governor Alfred Mutua, is ready to host the national celebrations for the first time since independence.
