The United States International University (USIU) students and staff staged demonstrations along the busy Thika Super Highway to protest the alleged grabbing of the institution’s land by a private developer.

The university fraternity paralyzed transport along the road for several hours as they headed to Muthaiga Police Station in Nairobi to hand in their petition to the police.
