Industrial Court Orders KCGWU To Amend Petition
The petition seeks a court order in order to stop the public service biometric registration until the case is heard and determined.
The union claims that the entire registration exercise was an unfair means to terminate employment.
KCGWU in its suit argues that some of the documents required for the process are not readily available.
Some of the requirements are original Identity Cards, original academic and professional certificates, letters of first appointment and birth certificates.
Justice Maureen Onyango issued the orders in the case in which the county staff union are opposed to the biometric registration that kicked off several weeks ago.
The union is expected to make the necessary amendments before filling the application that seeks to annul the process.
The case will be heard on 27th October.
