Infinix ‘Beat ya Campo’ talent search takes a grand bow

The Third edition of the InfinixBeatYaCampo singing competition is set to take a grand bow on Friday, November 29, 2019 at University of Nairobi.

The inter-campus event which is aimed at selecting and supporting potential stars among the students with great musical talent saw top Kenyan musicians in attendance.

The event dubbed “Beat Ya Campo’ will be host to amazing performances from Khaligraph, Juacali, Sailors, Fena, Nadia, Bensoul and Ochunglo Family .

Speaking during the semi-final event, Infinix Kenya Brand Manager Zhiang Qiang said that the competition was anchored on bringing the talented students a step close to their dreams by providing them with platforms and offering opportunities to them who represent the ‘future’.

“The next generation of the Kenyan youth communicate majorly through music and if you check majority of them are very talented but they lack the suitable platforms to express their amazing talents & show to the world.“ said Mr. Qiang- Brand Manager Infinix Kenya.

“Singing always puts a smile on my face and on others. And me being able to express this on such a platform, is really amazing, “said Diana Rose-a student at the University of Nairobi.

The overall winner will sign a recording deal through Boomplay music, a digital music service developed by Tecno Mobile which aims to build the largest and most sustainable digital music ecosystem in Africa.

The talent search is in partnership with the local top music, entertainment platforms including Boomplay & Vskit,the mission is to select & support the potential stars among the students with great musical talent.

Other prizes that are up for grabs at the event starting at 6:30pm include the latest Infinix smartphone; Infinix S5, Ksh.10,000, brand new TV from syinix, 50% coupon from infinixmall, a hamper from Boomplay among others.

Infinix is known for its smart- mobile brands such as ZERO, NOTE, HOT, and HOT S series.

It is a brand that has established itself since 2013 after its launching, to empower its users through innovative technologies for them to stand out.
