Infinix Hot 2 debuts in Kenya; this is why you need it

The Infinix Hot 2 smartphone has debuted in Kenya. The smartphone is running on Android 5.0 under Google’s Android One initiative.

The new Infinix Hot 2 phone, that runs on Android One OS, brings high-performance and low-cost Android experience to end users, and is the first smartphone on the Android One program in Africa.

Android One phones offer a high-quality experience, running the latest and fastest version of Android (Lollipop) — with up to 2x better performance and a battery extension feature giving users up to 90 minutes of extra use.

Android One smartphones run on Android Lollipop, but unlike other phones, automatically get updated to the latest version of Android soon after it is released so that they get even better over time.

Android One devices are high quality smartphones that have been certified by Google — specifically, tested to ensure they are fast and responsive. In particular, Android One phones come with an impressive touch screen that can detect up to 100 touches every second.

The Infinix Hot 2 comes with a 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 2MP front and 8MP rear camera and dual sim capabilities and costs Kshs 8,999.

Display

The infinix Hot 2 comes with a 5.0 inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels. In addition to that, its 2MP front and 8MP rear camera, promises users bright and sharp images even in little or no light conditions.

Storage Space

Despite its relatively low cost, the device boosts of a 16GB internal memory, that is expandable to 32 GB with a microSD card. With this storage space, the device, which is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Processor, provides users with just enough space to save all their favorite things like music, pictures, videos and other documents.
