Investigate land company murders, MP
Kigumo Member of Parliament Jamleck Kamau has called on the government through the Interior Ministry to address the rising insecurity in Murang’a County.
Kamau expressed his disappointment with security forces in the county for their alleged laxity.
The MP was reacting to a recent case where two directors of the infamous Kihiu Mwiri Land Buying company in Murang’a south were shot dead by unknown assailants.
Speaking during a church service,the Legislator urged the government to take charge of the security situation in the area.
Kamau added that the mysterious murders surrounding the controversial land buying company over the years need to be investigated.
Meanwhile, four former Directors of the troubled company have been arrested.
This comes two days after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations interrogated the past and the present directors on the management of the 1,080 acre of land.
