Is your car on this list? NTSA says you have 14 days to present it
The National Service and Transport Authority (NTSA) has summoned owners of 584 vehicles to verify ownership.
A notice released on Wednesday said they should present themselves at any NTSA motor vehicle inspection center.
“The owners are hereby given 14 working days to present them, failure to which the vehicles shall be deregistered without further reference to the owners,” the notice reads.
According to the authority, the owners of the listed cars had been issued with a notice on May 7 this year for verification but they failed to do so.
Owners of the listed vehicles are to present the following documents for verification:
- Original and copy of the Registration certificate (Logbook)
- Importation documents
- National Identification card and KRA PIN Certificate
- Any other document to proof ownership
NTSA further ordered that no transaction be done with the vehicles until their ownership is verified.
“The vehicles must be presented for inspection by October 28, 2019 failure to which the vehicles will be deregistered,” the notice reads.
