Isaac Rutto Dismisses Threats By Duale

Rutto said URP does not have the mechanism to punish governors who do not heed directives to appear before a Senate committee over audit queries

"URP as a party can not send home anyone who has refused to appear before the committee as there are no such an organ" Rutto said

Rutto laughed off Duale’s threats saying URP is yet to elect national officials

The fiery Bomet governor said no one has a right to dictate or intimidate governors who support the push for referendum

He was speaking in Bomet town early today.

He claimed that those claiming to be URP party officials were mere pretenders.

The governors in question have refused to account for county funds citing a court order barring senators from summoning governors

The two leaders have exchanged harsh words in recent times over the referendum push
