Jacque Maribe has been arrested in connection to the death of Monica Kimani in Kilimani, Nairobi.

She was arrested on orders from the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti.

Maribe is currently being held at Gigiri Police Station and is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.

The move comes after hours of interrogation as police try to piece together what could have led to the death of Monica Kimani.

Her car was also seized by police on the same day her fiancé Joseph Irungu aka Jowie, the main suspect, was arrested.

It is said that he used the vehicle to go to Monica’s apartment in Kilimani on the day of the murder.

A court ruled that Irungu be detained for 10 days at the Muthaiga Police Station as investigations into the murder continue.

Monica Kimani, 29, was found dead at her apartment in Lamuria Gardens on Kitale Lane, off Denis Pritt Road.
