Jaguar: What I Plan to Do as NACADA Board Member

“I could not sleep….I got so many calls and messages of congratulations,” said an excited Jaguar adding that, “Ni kitu poa juu nimefanya vitu nyingi kusaidia youth na hii ni example ya from nothing to something.” (This is very good since I have done many things to help the youth, this is an example of ‘from nothing to something’)

Jaguar, who is a close friend to President Uhuru Kenyatta, was once a tout.

He rose from rags to riches to become a successful musician, influential businessman and philanthropist.

On how he intends to fight drug abuse, Jaguar was quick to point out the need to change tactics to what the youth can easily embrace.

“Stress is one of the causes of drug abuse…we need to tackle it,” Jaguar went farther to say, “I welcome the appointment and call upon everyone to support me in this. I can’t do it alone, we need to work together to fight drug abuse.”

Fellow artistes applauded Jaguar’s appointment. In an interview with Homeboyz Radio’s Mwalimu Rachel, Madtraxx said, “We are happy about this move, I mean it’s great to have a young guy on Board who’ll represent the youth as they should, so let’s see how it goes we however hope that he won’t be corrupted by power, you’ve all seen what it does to people.”

Jaguar joins the National Campaign Against Drug Abuse Authority Board (NACADA) boss John Mututho in fighting drug abuse.

Other members of the board include G. Nasieku Taraiya and  Stephen Kiptoem Mairori who were also appointed by the president.
