Jakakimba, Ratimo Withdraw From Senate Race

Aduke says he has with-drawn his candidature due to the ugly turn homa–bay politics  has taken in terms of violence, revenge, hatred, lack of respect for the law, and human life.

His withdrawal comes just a day after another candidate, Silas Jakakimba, also bowed-out of the race.

Meanwhile, electoral body IEBC has cleared Moses Kajwang’ of ODM party and Philip Okundi of Maendeleo Democratic Movement party to vie in the Homa-Bay senate by-election.

Independent candidates Professor Luke Medo-Misa and Innocent Masara were not cleared for failing to meet all requirements.
