JAP Was Not Organized In Kajiado Poll, Kuria

The legislator now says that Jubilee did not lose the election because Elijah Memusi was a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) but because the ODM team was more organized. 

Kuria said that the loss by JAP but should serve as a wakeup call.

Speaking in Mutomo, the controversial legislator said that despite Memusi wining with a margin of 500 votes, JAP is still the party pf choice for many Kenyans.

 

BETTER STRATEGIES

Kuria emphasized that JAP foundation should go back to the drawing board and work hard as a team to create better strategies ahead of the 2017 polls.

Memusi won the Kajiado Central parliamentary seat in the Monday's by election after garnering 16,008 votes against JAP’s Patrick Tutui who garnered 15,508 votes followed by Mr. Kuntai Nkashuma, an independent candidate, who got 100 votes.

The hotly contested seat was after President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Joseph Nkaissery as the Interior Cabinet Secretary in December last year.

Before his appointment, Nkaissery was an ODM MP for Kajiado Central.
