Jastorina Passes On

A popular screen actress and thespian Nancy Nyambura, popularly known as Jastorina, has passed on. Her death coming only hours after she was named the best comedy actress at this year's kalasha film awards held on Friday night.  Nyambura plays the lead role as househelp on "Jastorina", a tv comedy show aired on Citizen tv. She also features on "mashtaka", a courtroom comedy drama. Nyambura died early Saturday after a short illness. The Royal Media Services managing director Wachira Waruru in his message of condolence, described nyambura's death as a great loss of a natural talent.
