Joseph Olita Laid To Rest

Olita was buried at his Pap Oriang’ village home, in Siaya County with a host of area leaders eulogizing the famous Kenyan artist.

Siaya County Representative Dr Christine Ombaka led area leaders in remembering Olita as a pillar of inspiration in movie circles, putting K’ogello village on the world map.

Leaders from Nyanza region, including Siaya County Governor Cornel Rasanga and other legislators from the county were notably absent at the funeral.
