Journalist Dennis Omondi set to be buried on Saturday

Former NTV journalist Dennis Omondi Msundi is set to be laid to rest on Saturday August 4 at his rural home in Mundasi village, Busia County.

His body will be airlifted to Kisumu on Thursday, August 2 ahead of the burial ceremony on Saturday.

Omondi succumbed to leukemia last Friday at Kenyatta National Hospital where he was continuing with treatment after leaving India (where he was also undergoing treatment) in early June 2018.

At the time of his death, Dennis Omondi was waiting for a bone marrow transplant.

His ailment drained the family financially which saw them ask for several donations in order to fund his expensive treatment.

The late Omondi has left behind a widow and two children.
