JSC Recommends Appointment Of 25 Judges

This follows a competitive recruitment process after which the JSC members made the decision on Friday.

193 applications were received by the commission and 76 had been shortlisted for interviews which were conducted in June and July 2013.

Among those recommended for appointments are Onguto Joseph, Mutungi Kariuki, Margaret Waringa Muigai, Riechi Spephen Nyangau, Sewe Olga Aketch, Aburili Roselyn Ekirapa, Justus Momanyi, Winfrida

Adhiambo and Enoch Chacha Mwita.

Others include Otieno Patrick Okwaro, Robert Kipkoch Limo, Nagila Chrispin, Antony Kimani Ndungu, Mugure Thande, Margaret Njoki Mwangi, Githinji Spephen Murugu, Dorah Chepkwony, Ongeri Asenath Nyaboke, Kiarie Waweru Kiarie, Njuguna Lucy Mwihaki, Mrima Antony Charo, Janet Nzilani Mulwa, Mativo Mutinga John, Farah Amin and Sheikh Mohammed.
