Jubilee and NASA leaders dismiss petition to oust Maraga
Gatundu MP Moses Kuria has faulted Ngunjiri Wambugu’s petition which seeks to oust Chief Justice Maraga, saying the Nyeri MP cannot go after Maraga as an individual.
Speaking at a press briefing, Moses Kuria who was recently released on on a cash bail of Sh300,000 over incitement to violence charge said that Jubilee had nothing to do with the petition and that Wambugu is acting on his own.
Kuria, however, added that whoever wants to boycott the October 17 polls has every right to do so.
On the other hand, National Super Alliance leaders led by Moses Wetangula have come to the defense of the Chief Justice claiming that Wambugu’s petition is a scheme orchestrated by Jubilee to intimidate the Judiciary.
