Jubilee politician Shaban wants Moses Kuria to be Rutos running mate

Jubilee politician Kelvin Shaban says Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria should be Deputy President William Ruto’s running mate in the 2022 presidential election.

According to Mr. Shaban, Moses Kuria walks the talk when it comes to pushing the Jubilee Party agenda and has been on the forefront in almost all political rallies led by DP Ruto.

“The chances of Moses Kuria becoming Ruto’s running mate are at an all-time high especially if the position of the Prime Minister is not created. Moses Kuria has a proven track record: He walks the talk, he passionately accompanies DP Ruto to almost all functions,” said Shaban on his social media account.

Mr. Shaban noted that Mr. Kuria is one of the few Jubilee leaders who met Opposition chief Raila Odinga to cement truce called by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Odinga.

“If you are keen, he’s the only Jubilee leader who met with baba (Raila Odinga) to cement the handshake between Jubilee and ODM in moving Kenya forward. The other leader who can match this is Sabina Chege. Leadership is about results, people driven politics and mobilisation,” he said.

According to Shaban, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko cannot be a good running mate for Mr. Ruto following his recent fall out with a section of Jubilee leaders.
