On Tuesday, the nominations will be held in Lamu, Wajir, Mandera, Marsabit, Turkana, Samburu, Kilifi, Tana River, Mombasa, Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, Bungoma, Busia, Homa Bay, Migori, as well as in Kwale, Garissa, Isiolo, Nyamira, Kajiado, Kiambu, Muranga and Uasin Gishu counties.

The meeting chaired by the Deputy President, William Ruto, also agreed to hold polls in Nyeri, Laikipia, Embu, Taita Taveta, Nyandarua, Narok, Nakuru, Meru, Tharaka Nithi, West Pokot and Trans Nzoia on Wednesday.

Jubilee Secretariat has hired six printing firms and five logistics companies to handle fresh printing of ballot papers for the exercise, assuring of a credible process.

Tuju announced that the party has also improved the security measures on both the ballot papers and ballot boxes and has also changed the type of ballot papers including the colour and general appearance.

This comes just hours after President Kenyatta apologized to Jubilee Party aspirants and supports over what has been termed as a shambolic exercise that resulted to the cancellation of the exercise in its entirety.
