Jubilee’s time is up, Raila says

CORD leader Raila Odinga has called on youth from Coast region to register enmass as voters and come out in large numbers in the next year’s General Election to install him as the president.

Raila told the youthful audience at Pwani University, in Kilifi County, that Jubilee government’s time in office is up.

“Sisi tunasema tunataka kuenda kazi, Kazi ya kufukuza wezi na kuwapeleka nyumbani [We want to go to do a job, a job of rooting out thieves and sending them home],” Odinga told an elated audience.

Odinga was in the coastal county to officiate the Kilifi International Investment Conference.

He termed the Jubilee administration as a bunch of corrupt persons who need to be sent home.

Raila Odinga has recently under taken a series of rallies in different parts of the country to drum up support for his presidential bid as well as popularise his ODM party.

Odinga is facing competition from his co-principals in CORD coalition for presidential nomination.

Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula have already announced their presidential aspirations.

The issue of appointing a single presidential candidate to battle it out with the incumbent, President Uhuru Kenyatta, is threatening to tear the coalition apart.

The opposition chief enjoyed a bigger support from the coast in the 2013 elections compared to President Kenyatta.
