Kabete Mini Polls Contestants Not Voters in the Constituency

Democratic Party's (DP) Kiriro Wa Ngugi and National Vision Party's (NVP) Newton Njenga are the only candidates registered as voters in the constituency that goes to the mini poll tomorrow, Monday, May 4th, 2015.

The Kabete Parliamentary seat has attracted many aspiring candidates including Jubilee Allliance Party's (JAP) Ferdinand Waititu, Independent Candidate George Mungai Waiguru, Party of Democratic Unity's (PDU) Isaiah Gichu Ndirangu, and Safina's John Wamagata.

Others include Narc-Kenya's Kavore Kariuki, Progressive Party of Kenya's (PPK) Paul Kariuki Wandere and Orange Democratic Movement's Wilson Karanja Kamau.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has assured the electorate in Kabete of free and fair polls.

Polling stations will open at 6am and close at 5pm.

The Kabete parliamentary seat fell vacant after the murder of MP George Muchai on February 7th in Nairobi.
